Woman arrested for making 7 unauthorized purchases with a debit card | Crime

On December 10, 2012 the victim reported that she had left her credit card inside her uniform that she dropped off at a local dry cleaners on December 7, 2012. She noticed that since the card was gone, several unauthorized purchases showed up on her credit card. A total of 7 unauthorized purchases were made between December 7 – 9, 2012. The offender even tried to use the card as a debit card at a local bank, but was refused due to her not having the proper pin number. During the investigation, the investigators were able to recover video and photographic evidence of the suspect at several businesses. Through continued investigation, Carol Ladsen Manzie was identified as the suspect. On December 21, 2012 Carol Ladsen Manzie was arrested by investigators. Ms. Manzie was charged with  7 counts of  Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Card. Her bond was set at $105,000.00 C/P (each charge carried $15,000.00 x 7)
